There’s a boy I know
Such a sweet thing
Caught between being a man
And living as a boy

A scared little heart
Afraid to trust
Aching to believe
That we are more
Than just a passing phase

Oblivion for the unknown
Agony for the enlightened
Tougher than diamonds
Yet as fragile as a rose petal
Are we any more different than the other?

flowers are blooming
birds are chirping
away, away cold from the North
time for your South sister to blow
bring the fire of the sun
and the warmth that covers the land
makes life come forth again

colors come forth,
blandness gone
life and light chases
shadows and death

wake up, wake up,
come alive again
live forth
before life passes
and the cold earth
calls to claim you again

been feeling the little creative itch lately.... in all honesty i do miss writing and rambling, but more importantly i miss the inspiration. being stuck in a rut has left me dry on the creative juices.. hell, writing a formal letter was hard. i miss creativity and randomness. i miss witty conversations and snarky sarcasms. times change yes, but do we always get left behind?

we're all born free, but why do we live with so many chains surrounding us. baggages that hold us down. where are we going to? what are we searching for?

Enrique Iglesias - Little Girl

Little girl kisses her mom
Tells her I love you
Holds on to her hand

Little girl doesn't have much
She walks with a smile
She's so full of life

But she cries in the night
Just to try to hold on
No one can hear her
She's all alone

This little girl closes her eyes
All that she wants
Is someone to love
Someone to love

Little girl
She's all grown up
Oh she's getting famous
She's a big star

Oh little girl

Fights with her mom
Can't believe money
Changed who she loved

And she cries in the night
Just to try to hold on
But no one can hear her
She's all alone

This little girl closes her eyes
All that she wants
Is someone to love
Someone to love
She cries in the night
Just to try to hold on
No one can hear her
She's all alone

This little girl closes her eyes
All that she wants
Is someone to love (someone)
Someone to love (someone)
To love (someone)
Someone [fade out]

Is it enough?

Your eyes are staring, probing,
Looking deep within,
Anxiety shadows me;
Did you find what you were seeking,
or am I not what you are searching for?

The distance apart kills you so,
And who knew sitting here beside you
could torture so,
Smiling is just a little harder,
When you're always in second place.

She gets to have all of you forever,
While all I have to hold on now
is just a part of you.
Is eternity is small price to pay,
just to have all of you now?

Midnight falls now,
and here we are
in each other's embrace;
Until this moment passes
Is it enough?

how much?

how much can a heart break?
each time its pieced back
it shatters soon again...
when did it start?
when does it stop?

what do we do?
when we're given the choice,
why do we run?
when all we want is to stay,
where did we learn?
to repay love with pain.

the heart wants what it wants;
how did we become wraiths?
shadows of a passionate race,
each a lonely face,
afraid of love's power,
thus being dead before alive.

who envies who?

i was watching Troy on tv last night when one particular line Achiles said to Breisies kinda got me wondering. It goes, "The truth is that the gods envy us mortals. The fact that one day we will die makes each moment we have so much sweeter, while they are forever immortal." Its strange isn't it? In the light of what he said, it makes us seem so blessed that we have chances to make moments more special than they already are just because they won't come again and we won't have the chance again. And yet we do envy the gods because they are immortal... Wait wait, don't tell me no, because you know that's a lie. Maybe we've been doing it unconsciously, like in our quest to remain forever young. Each of us wants to stay young, beautiful and radiant. But is it really worth it? The gods envy our fleeting moments while we envy their lasting presences... Quite a paradox ain't it?
